Offa's Dyke South - 2007

Introduction

The walk along the southern section of Offa's Dyke path kick started the life of Rambling Pete. I had walked the northern section of Offa's Dyke many years before, pre digital camera in fact, and in between had been many years of DIY mayhem and boredom. Enough was enough and it was time to get out and walk some more. I had spent a week down in Falmouth with the family before this walk and my father had asked me to make a diary of the walk so he could enjoy it with me. So I did, and from that diary Rambling Pete came into being after reading the walkingplaces website. I got in touch with Stuart and sent the diary, and the rest is history. I'd like to think that the journals have improved over the years from this starter in 2007. Anyway, read on and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did walking the routes.

This strangely enough was the original title - I used to drink a lot then.....

My Lovely lovely walk, galloping through the fields, like a train in the night....yeah…
