Canada 2010

Day : 19th September

Weather: Low cloud

Route: Lake Louise and Morraine Lake

Low cloud and misty peaks, so this turned into a drive around, and thanks to Stef for taking me there. Lake Louise is one of those tourist honeypots, with a big hotel to service all comers. It was impressive but too touristy for me. We had a little walk around the lake but couldn't see much due to the low cloud. A shame really as another walk up to the top would have been grand. I preferred the morraine lake with it's log jam at the end - mind you we could see the glaciers up above on this one. The next day I drove back to Edmonton to dump the truck and catch a flight home to blighty - but this taster of Canada has wet my whistle and I'll be coming back for more.

it's a shame it wasn't clear
